Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she trains athletes. Annie is first woman who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. Annie was second in the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete as well as a media star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents and siblings were all born and brought up within Reykjavik Iceland. As a child she was an avid enthusiast of fitness and sports. She participated in many school activities and won a number of medals. As of 2009, she competed in the CrossFit game in California. She was the first woman to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an impressive 2012. CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to be crowned the winner of both CrossFit Games. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award as well as in 2021, she was awarded bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand subscribers where her training video clips, diet as well as travel videos are posted.
