Felicity Jones is an British actress best known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones has been working in plays, films and TV since her 12th birthday. She began by appearing in The Treasure Seekers, a film on television. Following that, she appeared as a character in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and in Weirdsisters College. The first movie she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many movies. She gained popularity for her acting in movies including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The character she portrayed for the character of The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nomination for her first. Jones received high praise from viewers and critics alike for portraying Hawking's former wife for The Theory of Everything, a Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the following film in which she appeared that starred Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, for her exceptional ability and dedication.
